You basically have to horde resources to pay off thier tax or else they will continually send extremely tanky enemys that not even your hero ( who needs a buff as the heros have trouble killing even dear) can take on. It also does not help that the save feature only gives one save for the current playthrough so that if you have auto save on you basically have to start over if you die. Another problem comes from the lack of tutorial which results in hours of wasted playthroughs because all of your villagers will get sick and you will not know how to cure them. Lastly The games ui is not the greatest either with it constantly bugging out resulting in a few quick pause un pauses to temporaliy fix it. The game has potential but the unbalanced gameplay causing you to have to play the same way everytime to have a chance at winning and the bugs really take away from the game. After finaly makning it to winter you find out that you need to have made fur cloathing for all of your villagers or they will continually die. So having more then 10 villagers basically means half your village is screwed and you will not be able to pay off the taxes for the north men with results in yor demise. I also got to see how bad the ai workers are, if they are not getting stuck in place trying to do a job then they are getting tired every three seconds resulting in taking a 10 minute walk to a location to only turn around half way and go to sleep. I apologize for the unorganized review but it definitely aligns with how unorganized this game is.. Let's get to the point.. It's a nice concept of a game but, it lacks in everthing. Lots of glitches, no proper UI to tell you that you are under attack by animals that is. I could write a proper review but i cant be a arsed. Fix the glitches and better UI.As of right now I can't give it a recommendation. Gameplay still hasn't changed from a playlist on youtube I watched 2 years ago.EDIT:Developer inmediatly responded to my review and didn't reply with an automated reply like most Triple A devs sometimes do. I got respect for that. As for some glitches are: I couldn't reproduce anymore for a while even though I had 10\/12 villagers, it got fixed after I build my 3rd house. Sometimes skeletons spawn inside my town (after i got the 2nd Gate on my right side of the castle. It keeps spawning behind my 1st gate on the right) Also I don't know if its supposed to be a feature but my archer towers can't attack if they are behind a gate and the enemies are attacking the gate.Also there was this glitch which made me unpossible to do anything after I dismantled a well. All the buildings were red as if I was still demolishing something, the demolishing symbol was active aswell. I tried everything like press ESC and try to command my villagers or hero, it wouldn't work. I had to make a new save because of it.For the reason you are developing the game alone and responding fast to my review I'm going to change it to recommended.. At its current state, I would call it an Alpha version.People get stuck all the time. I built a building over a building. Destruction of buildings, doesn't seem to work. People don't see the ressources in front of them ...The gameplay is pretty confussing. The game is complex, but doesn't really explain anything. There are a lot of different ressources and I have no idea, how to get most of them. I am not sure, what buildings, I should build. My people found an artifact at the beginning and I don't know where I can find it.There might be some potential, but at it's current state, I wouldn't recommend playing it.. Boring, ugly as mutant dog, interface is a nightmare, made in unity, crash on exit, dont save.This game wont make russia great again.ps. bonus joke In soviet russia LIfe Is Nice.
